Jon Favreau’s directorial “The Jungle Book” is an Hollywood movie based on the Rudyard Kipling’s eponymous collective works. Movie hits Indian theaters on 7th April, a week before its release in the US. Movie was produced by Jon Favreau and Brigham Taylor with a live action Cgi re imaging of Walt Disney’s 1967 animated film of the same name.

Under the production banners of Walt Disney Pictures and Fairview Entertainment movie stars 12 years old Indian American Neel Sethi as Mowgli, an orphan boy who is raised in the jungle with the help of a pack of wolves, a bear and a black panther. Voice cast of different characters are given by Bill Murray, Ben Kingsley, Idris Elba, Lupita Nyong’o, Scarlett Johansson, Giancarlo Esposito and Christopher Walken.
Based on the children classic, Timing of the release is also great as coming in the summer holidays. Craze of the movie is not only among children, but is creating a huge buzz among their parents too. Because apart of movie, Indian children of 90’s grown up watching the Hindi Tv serial show series with the same name featuring Mowgli, Bagheera, Baloo, among others were as dear to us as our very own chaddi buddies.
