Puli is an Indian Tamil film released on 1 October 2015 which was directed by Chimbu Deven and produced by Shibu Thameens and PT Selvakumar. Story of the film is written by Chimbu Deven. Film stars Vijay in a dual role, Sridevi, Sudeep, Shruti Haasan, Hansika Motwani and Nandita Swetha in the lead roles and with them suppoting roles are played by Prabhu, Vijayakumar, Thambi Ramaiah, Aadukalam Naren, Imman Annachi, Robo Shankar, Sathyan, Vidyullekha Raman, Jasper and Gayathri Raman. Cinematography work is done by Natarajan Subramaniam being film editing work is done by A. Sreekar Prasad. Movie puli is releasing on 1 October 2015 by Sri Thenandal films in Tamil Nadu, Ayngaran International in United Kingdom, Thameens in Kerela, S. Narayan in Karnataka and by Pahlaj Nihalani in the northern part of India.
The official teaser has been released on 22 June 2015. In november 2014, Film starts its production works. Puli movie is an Fantasy and Adventure film and is releasing in three differnt different languages. At the Adityaram Studios on the East Coast Road, Chennai team begans filming on a song featuring Vijay and Hansika Motwani. Team also made a base at Pannaiyapuram for forty five days. Till december the team did’nt even got the title of the film and then in early January 2015 confirmed the title as Puli.
